Established in 2005, Spillvac specialise in air operated vacuum units that operate without the need for electricity or pumps. Distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific by Spillfix International, Spillvac have many applications where liquids, semi liquids an solids are involved.

 

A Brief History

Don Smith designed the first SpillVac unit in an effort to keep his transmission shop clean and safe. That particular unit was hand held, constructed of aluminum and air powered. Don found that his unit was capable of cleaning up spills easier and faster than traditional methods. In addition, Don designed and patented a drop ball system to "dump" the contained fluids efficiently.

Don's research and development in the years to come led to a greatly improved product that is capable of not only cleaning up spills, but also of pumping the contained product into any container for disposal, reuse or recycling.

The SpillVac was originally designed to clean up small oil and antifreeze spills in shops, however, new uses are always being discovered for The SpillVac including the cleanup of automotive and machinery fluids, powders, CNC millings and paint. The SpillVac has also been well received by the maritime, mining, roadside cleanup, refining and agricultural industries.

Not only is The SpillVac faster than traditional methods of cleaning up spills, it is much safer for the environment because it allows for the recycling and proper disposal of all types of spills.
